| Before moving back to the East Coast, Lou was a certified ski instructor in Crested Butte, Colorado. While living in the mountains Lou became an avid rock climber and backcountry skier. Lou has climbed several of Colorado's Fourteeners, including Castle Peak and San Luis Peak. Lou attributes his passion and respect for the outdoors with his involvement in scouting, and has obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. Lou has also worked and led trips at Philmont Scout Ranch outside of Cimarron, New Mexico. |

| In the city, Lou enjoys biking, long distance running, and cross- country skiing in Prospect Park. When Lou is not outside, he is inside teaching at a private school in Brooklyn. Lou's dream trips include climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and rafting through the Grand Canyon. |
