You might be digging snow in New York, but out West spring is already in the air and one of the high-demand camping spots is getting ready for another sold-out 2019 season. If you are lucky to snag a permit to get into Havasupai Falls, you'll need some gear and we're here to help - we can ship camping gear to your home, or after you get near the destination (flying into Las Vegas or Phoenix for example).
You first must have a permit, and to be frank, they are not easy to get due to the high demand. Opening Day for permits applications in 2019 is February 1, when campground reservations for the entire 2019 season (February through November) go on sale. Since the entire season will probably sell out within a few hours, be sure to create an account now - and then sign back in to your account by 8 AM on February 1st. Be flexible with what dates you are willing to make the trip.
Pricing for 2019 will be finalized right before Opening Day. The permitting process is restrictive to keep down the resale market, so all reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable. That means the reservation is only valid if the person named on the reservation is present at the Check-in Office in the Village of Supai (on the way to the campground) with photo ID - otherwise you will be truned away and have to hike back out.
